A History of Healing & Recovery Success
Calvary Healing Center has been helping adults work through addiction issues since 1964, offering a full continuum of care in a compassionate environment situated in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. Calvary’s affordable, evidence-based treatment programs address the practical, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction, setting the stage for long-term recovery. Our treatment team consists of caring, compassionate staff and masters-level, state-licensed therapists, working with patients in an ideal environment for breaking the bondage of dependency.
OUR ADDICTION BELIEFS
We believe addiction is a chronic and progressive disease that affects the whole person: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Calvary Healing Center also believes that chemical dependency is a family disease because family members and significant others are affected by a loved one’s addiction. With those beliefs in mind, we educate our patients on the following:
- Healthy communication
- Family roles
- Coping skills
- Resolving conflict
- Issues of trust and forgiveness
